Currently undergoing re-decoration, The Royal Victoria and Bull Hotel in Rochester High Street is an old coaching in, originally called the Bull. The Royal Victoria part of the name was added to the name on the occasion of Princess (later Queen) Victoria staying on the night of 29th November 1836. An unexpected visit caused by a storm which had damaged some of the stonework of Rochester Bridge.There are currently 38 rooms some with 4 Poster Beds, all rooms have en-suite bathrooms. The hotel can offer breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as comprehensive room service, Attached to the hotel is the Rochester Bar that is open all day and late on Friday's and Saturdays.We are situated in the Historic part of Rochester with the Castle, Cathedral and the River Midway only a few hundred yards away.
